- Equity Release & Later Life Lending: Equity release and later life mortgages enable property owners aged 55 and over to release tax-free cash from the value of their properties. These are long-term loans that are repaid via the sale of your property when you pass away or when you go into long-term care. Until then, you remain the owner and you won’t need to move out.
